Get ready for school! – individual workshops for multilingual children
A specialised summer programme designed for bilingual children aged 4–7 who are preparing to start an English-speaking preschool or primary school in Ireland.
Created by an experienced Language Development Specialist in collaboration with an Irish teacher, the programme helps children build confidence and develop essential skills needed for a successful transition to school while maintaining their home language.
Through fun, engaging, one-to-one sessions, children will develop:

everyday school-related English vocabulary and communication skills,

familiarity with common Irish language phrases used in schools,

early literacy and numeracy skills,

executive functioning skills such as attention, memory, and planning,

confidence in social interaction and play in English.
Each programme cycle consists of five daily 1.5-hour individual sessions held during July and August, tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
